Before submitting a bug report, please look through the Known Issues section in the release notes. In addition, please look through the bugs on the SourceForge Project Bug Tracker. If your bug is not covered in either of these places, then please submit a new bug report.

You can submit bug reports by sending a message to the bugs mailing list (see the Mailing Lists page) or by posting a report on the SourceForge Project Bug Tracker. Choose which ever method is simplest for you. The Bug Tracker can provide you with status updates when your bug is fixed, but we always try to follow-up on posts to the bugs mailing list.

When submitting a bug report, please include a .hsd save file if possible. Most of the bugs require the information in this save file in order for us to diagnose the problem. The SourceForge Project Bug Tracker allows you to attach files to bug reports. In addition, please compress the .hsd files before sending them.

IMPORTANT: Do not send bug reports to the official City of Heroes forums. Messages there will most certainly be overlooked.
